Comments:
I think naming the Highway after Gene would be one of the smartest things El Paso ever done!
Name this section of I10 (espically in Texas) is a wonderful testimate to the memorey of such a visionary. And he was not \'anti-christian\'.
\"I think naming the Highway after Gene would be one of the smartest things El Paso ever done!\" This would promote the city and bring in fans and in the long run only help the city and not hurt it. I don't know why people oppose it, but when you way out the positives & negatives I believe the positives are stronger.
I don\'t, as a rule do STAR TREK conventions. But I\'d be tempted by any one El Paso hosts on 10/4.
I\'d like to visit the home of any great contributor to Human and American betterment.
I believe that naming the Highway after Gene Rodenberry would be a wonderful thing to do. The man was a true visionary and brings hope to many people across the world.
I wouldn\'t stoop that far.(Then again, I got mad when we didn\'t stop by Harry S Truman\'s birthplace on a trip to Branson.) [in response to visiting the place where Gene was born]
