I have had a number of requests (some within the old petition guestbook with no way to contact them to either give them an idea or tell them their idea was great) of how to help and gather support from non-Internet people. Well, now I have an answer (and many of you had the right idea anyway, just no way to follow through)!
Click on this link, and either view or let the file download and look at it. The Gene Roddenberry Memorial Society in Pennsylvania made a quick and easy petition and took it to a convention and had people sign it. I have had more local offers to do the same thing - but take it to a mall or to work or wherever people might be willing to sign and show their support.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO THIS!!!!!
Use the GRMS's form as a guide. Put more or less information on their as you think necessary. When you get your signatures, e-mail me and I'll send you a snail-mail address; or, if you can scan your documents, send them to me in either .jpg or .pdf (better) format, and I'll make sure the legislative committees get their copies, and a copy is posted on the site (now that I have figured out how!).
AS ALWAYS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
